By accessing or using KidBooks.pics ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

KidBooks.pics is an AI-powered illustration generation service designed for children's book creators. The Service allows users to generate images using artificial intelligence, manage character and scene libraries, and organize illustrations into projects.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Credits and Payments

The Service operates on a credit-based system:

• New users receive 3 free credits upon registration
• Additional credits can be purchased through our payment processor (Stripe)
• Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable
• Standard quality images cost 1 credit; High Definition images cost 3 credits
• Credits do not expire

5. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service, including reference images and character descriptions.

Generated Images: Images generated through the Service are owned by you. You may use them for personal and commercial purposes, including publishing in children's books.

Our Service: The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, remains the property of KidBooks.pics.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Create inappropriate content involving minors
• Generate content that infringes on copyrights or trademarks
• Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate images. While we strive for quality and consistency:

• Results may vary and are not guaranteed
• AI-generated content may occasionally produce unexpected results
• You are responsible for reviewing generated content before use

8. Storage

Users receive 1GB of storage for images. Additional storage can be purchased using credits. We reserve the right to delete content from inactive accounts after 12 months of inactivity.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the past 12 months.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and we may delete your data.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
